I don't really need to talk about myself, right?

After all, the best "about" pages are almost always about us, aren't they? (Of course, they are!)

So let's talk about that instead.

Because, at the end of the day, what I'm really about is helping you stand out in ways that feel good for you and your business.

Are we on the same page?
Here's what I'm puttin' down.

KINDNESS

A little something you should know straightaway: I'm not a fan of the bullsh*t. In this case, I mean copy that disrespects or pokes fun at others in a cruel or belittling way. The world can be a pretty scary, hateful place as it is. I don't see any reason to add more fuel to the fire, do you?

In other words: If you're transphobic, homophobic, racist, sexist, anti-feminist, or any other "ist" or "ic" similar to those listed above (cue: Ew, David) — or you simply believe you can't build a badass business while leading with genuine love and respect, I'm not the copywriter for you.

ASSURANCE

Call it what you want:  Empowerment. Encouragement. Positivity. Support. The gist of it is that I don't write copy that incites fear or gives your audience new insecurities (we all have enough of those, don't we?).

Instead, I write copy that guides people to products and services that they'll love, helps them solve real problems, and makes them feel good about themselves.

And here's the best part: Because I'm all about empowering others, you can bet I'll give you the tools you need to move forward with confidence — and I'll always share the reasoning behind my work.

FUN

Listen. I genuinely care about you. And your business. And your bottom line. It's all part of the package, promise. However, this doesn't have to be an intense, sink-or-swim situation for either of us. (Let's save the chaos and theatrics for — well, the theater, yeah?)

Here's the deal. I like to shake things up and make "copy time" fun! If you're working with me, you should expect a few laughs and good times all around

Full disclosure: I'm definitely going to hope my emails find you well, add an emoji or a GIF before my signature (see below), and deliver copy with a little bit of pep in its step.

Did we just become best friends?

Best friends-in-copy, that is. My process starts with a short, sweet, zero-pressure meet and greet — So let's set one up! Just shoot me an email, and I'll get back to you in a flash.

Curious about my soft skills?

With 10+ years of professional writing experience, I've developed a lot. But here are a few that my colleagues, clients, and friends really appreciate.

I'M ORGANIZED

Fun fact: I spent over 5 years writing and heading up customer service for a productivity expert. So you can bet your sweet soul I'm going to make our time together incredibly efficient. I arrange all of my projects so you know exactly what copy goes 'where' — and I take advantage of services like Monday and Dropbox to keep myself (and your copy!) as organized and easy to navigate as possible.

I'M HIGHLY RESPONSIVE

No one likes being left on read, right? Or waiting around for days for a call back or email reply? For me, a high response rate means that when you need me, I'm gonna be there for you. Probably with bells on. I pride myself on being as quick as possible to respond to any emails you send my way. Because if there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I genuinely love what I do. Period.

I GET SH*T DONE

Listen. When it comes to deadlines, I don't mess around. I do what I say I'm going to do, when I say I'm going to do it. And here's the best part: I don't half-ass anything, ever. (My friends say it's the Virgo in me. But honestly, is there any other way to be? I think not.) So, when I set a specific delivery date for your next big project, email series, or website copy — I'm going to stick to it. Without question.
